Terms and Conditions

  1. EftposHire.co.nz will provide support on 021-175-2309.
  2. It will be the Hirer’s responsibility to ensure the unit is kept secure and free from damage.
  3. EftposHire.co.nz accepts no responsibility for lack of cellular coverage or EFTPOS network congestion. No refund will be given in these instances.
  4. EftposHire.co.nz will not be liable for any lost sales or EFTPOS transactions.
  5. 1 day’s hire fee applies for orders cancelled once the machine has been dispatched.
  6. EftposHire.co.nz requires a credit card number and expiry date as security against the goods supplied and / or payment of any amounts due under this contract.
  7. Interest on overdue amounts accrues at 2% per month or part thereof. The Hirer will meet collection and reposession costs.
  8. If the machine is being returned by courier, it must be dispatched on the next business day after the hire period. The Hirer will be charged at the posted rates for each day that delivery is delayed beyond that date.
  9. The Hirer is responsible for any cleaning charges.
  10. EftposHire.co.nz is not responsible for any liability, claims, costs or expenses arising from damages or losses from the use or possession of its equipment.
  11. EftposHire.co.nz may, at its discretion, consider a part or full reduction of the hire charge where the machine has failed to operate normally.  Such reduction will only be considered where the Hirer has notified the support desk of the problem at the time it occurred.
  12. The Hirer shall use the equipment in a careful and proper manner.
  13. The Hirer shall not in any way alter or modify the equipment.
  14. The equipment is rented without warranty or guarantee of any kind, expressed or implied.
  15. The Hirer shall be responsible for any loss occasioned by theft or damage during use, storage or delivery. Insurance is available on the machines at $5 per machine per day, $10 per week, $12 per month.
  16. All rentals are subject to equipment availability and bookings are not confirmed until you receive written advice confirming the booking.
  17. Any transaction of $2000 or more on a credit-card capable unit must be approved in advance by this office.
  18.  At all times the Hirer is acting as an agent for EftposHire.co.nz or its subsidiaries Mixed Media Ltd and Eftpos.nz as the case may be and must therefore obey any instructions given by EftposHire.co.nz particularly in regard to conforming to the The Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009
